English abstract

The article presents the conceptual framework and structural components of the next generation library’s model, i.e. the Library 4.0. The state-of-art online technologies that could be exploited in course of the library services implementation, specially designed for meeting of the information needs of the users, while taking into account the peculiarities of the information interaction in society, are considered. The reader, librarian and artificial intelligence technologies are forecasted to create a base for the Library 4.0. However, it has been proven that the Library 4.0 Model cannot be grounded at the technologies only, while their implementation will cause the priority shift in the users’ information needs, libraries’ physical space transformation, and general reinterpretation of both the organizational and funding models of the information industry. That is why, some specific trends of the American Center for the Future of Libraries that is involved in performance of future tendencies in the librarian industry have been used for the comprehensive assessment of the perspective construction of the Library 4.0 integral conceptual framework.

В статье представлена концепция и составляющие модели библиотеки следующего поколения – Библиотеки 4.0. Рассмотрены передовые Интернет-технологии, которые могут использоваться для внедрения инновационных библиотечных услуг и сервисов, направленных на удовлетворение потребностей пользователей с учетом особенностей информационного взаимодействия в обществе. Аргументировано, что модель Библиотеки 4.0 не сможет основываться исключительно на технологиях, ведь их внедрение приведет к изменению структуры информационных потребностей пользователей, трансформации физического пространства библиотек, переосмысления моделей организации и финансирования информационной отрасли в целом. Для комплексного рассмотрения перспектив построения целостной концепции Библиотеки 4.0 использованы отдельные тренды американского Center for the Future of Libraries.
