English abstract

This article summarizes the best practices framework known as ‘75 Lessons Learned from Information Literacy Programs at Ibero-American Universities’, drawn from the study of 301 information literacy experiences in Latin American countries, Spain and Portugal. This research involved analysis of 499 documents and data triangulation with 113 interviews and 135 surveys. This comprehensive framework is a useful IberoAmerican guideline for developing new information literacy programs or strengthening existing ones at a worldwide level.

Este artículo resume el marco de mejores prácticas conocido como '75 Lecciones aprendidas de programas de alfabetización informacional en universidades iberoamericanas', extraído del estudio de 301 experiencias de alfabetización informacional en países de América Latina, España y Portugal. Esta investigación incluyó el análisis de 499 documentos y la triangulación de datos de 113 entrevistas y 135 encuestas. Este marco integral es una guía iberoamericana útil para desarrollar nuevos programas de alfabetización informacional o para fortalecer los existentes a nivel mundial.
