English abstract
The purpose of this paper is to present a general overview of the cooperation between Argentine biomedical libraries, covering relevant aspects throughout its history, such as the background of pioneers within the topic, the relevant meetings held, representative productions of the literature, projects, training, establishment of associations and specialized networks; with special emphasis on the area of information in dentistry. Conclusions are established based on why the topic is raised and various proposals are established.

El objeto de este trabajo es presentar un panorama general de la cooperación entre bibliotecas biomédicas argentinas, cubriendo aspectos relevantes a través de su historia, como los antecedentes de pioneros dentro del tema, las reuniones relevantes realizadas, producciones representativas de la literatura plasmada, proyectos, capacitaciones, conformación de asociaciones y redes especializadas; con especial hincapié en el área de la información en Odontología. Se establece conclusiones en función de por qué se plantea el tema y se establecen diversas propuestas.
