English abstract
The focus of the current issue 1-2/2017 of GMS Medizin – Bibliothek – Information is on “Medical historic sources at Viennese universities”. The authors in this issue are Zuzana Ráczová (Historical Archive of the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna), Harald Albrecht (Medical historic stock of the University Library of the Medical University of Vienna: Nine historic libraries at the Branch Library for Medical History with examples of their stocks) and Walter Mentzel (Medical historic stock of the University Library of the Medical University of Vienna. Virtual libraries at the Branch Library for Medical History: Search of evidence). Furthermore this focus issue features articles by Henriette Senst and Katharina Heldt (The role of the library in the research lifecycle using the example of the Robert Koch Institute’s library. A field report), Marta Nadraga (Medical university libraries in Ukraine), Bruno Bauer (The Medical Librarian’s Bibliography 2016; 7th meeting of the AGMB working group of Austrian medical librarians (AGMB.AT) at the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna on May 15th 2017) and Iris Reimann (German MLA News).

Die aktuelle Ausgabe 1-2/2017 von GMS Medizin – Bibliothek – Information ist dem Thema "Medizinhistorische Quellen an Wiener Universitäten" gewidmet. Verfasst wurden die Beiträge der Schwerpunktausgabe von Zuzana Ráczová (Historisches Archiv der Veterinärmedizinischen Universität Wien), Harald Albrecht (Medizinhistorische Bestände der Universitätsbibliothek der Medizinischen Universität Wien: Die neun historischen Bibliotheken an der Zweigbibliothek für Geschichte der Medizin mit Beispielen aus den Beständen) und Walter Mentzel (Medizinhistorische Bestände der Universitätsbibliothek der Medizinischen Universität Wien: Virtuelle Bibliotheken an der Zweigbibliothek für Geschichte der Medizin: Eine Spurensuche). Weiters bringt die aktuelle Ausgabe von GMS Medizin – Bibliothek – Information Beiträge von Henriette Senst und Katharina Heldt (Die Rolle der Bibliothek im Forschungszyklus am Beispiel der Bibliothek des RKI. Ein Praxisbericht), Marta Nadraga (Universitätsbibliotheken in der Ukraine), Bruno Bauer (Medizinbibliothekarische Bibliografie 2016; 7.
