English abstract

ICCU created the MAG scheme for facilitating digital objects' management, and for providing a metadata set for their application to digital projects. The MAG scheme defines the preparation of digital objects, how to file them, their access and conservation.

Italian abstract

L'ICCU, al fine di rendere possibile la gestione degli oggetti digitali ha messo a punto lo SCHEMA MAG, il quale consente di disporre di un set minimo di matadati gestionali per la loro applicazione nei progetti di digitalizzazione. Lo SCHEMA MAG definisce come devono essere preparati gli oggetti digitali, la loro archiviazione, il loro accesso e la loro conservazione.
