English abstract

Using metadata is central in allowing web sites and related resources recover. Dublin Core, Qualified Dublin Core included, is the standard more used and adaptable for web resources descriptions. However, the Syndacation may be used with the use of the files RSS.

L'uso adeguato di metadati è fondamentale per consentire il recupero dei siti web e delle risorse in essi contenuti. Il Dubiln Core, compreso il Qualified Dublin Core, rappresenta lo standard più utilizzato e adattabile per la descizione di risorse web. In alternativa può essere utilizzata la Syndacation attraverso l'impiego di file RSS.
