English abstract
The Information Society (SI) represents a profound change in the organization of society, with some considering it a new paradigm. In this Society, the dynamics are affected by the intense flow of information that reaches the educational sectors, causing changes in the role of the teacher who becomes the mediator of learning, in the attempt to awaken in the student, the ability to know to innovate. The concern with information and knowledge as expressive phenomena from a managerial and economic point of view is much older than is usually thought. The objective of the article is to characterize the subject of Information and Knowledge Management (GIC) as the thematic axis offered in postgraduate courses in Information Science (IC), in accordance with the requirements of the IS. The research is characterized as a qualitative study, of the documentary type carried out in the web environment, through the Sucupira Platform (2018) of the Ministry of Education. It adopts as research universe, higher education institutions that offer postgraduate courses in CI, totaling 21 universities. It is considered necessary to work with all the universities that offer these courses, at the Brazilian level, to achieve a broader analysis and more satisfactory results. The highest grade awarded belongs to the State University of São Paulo (UNESP), with a score of six. The programs that have a grade of 5 are those of CI from the University of Brasília and the Federal University of Santa Catarina and the programs in Information Sciences and Management and Knowledge Organization (GOC) of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). Note four was attributed to the CI programs and Information Management (GI) of the University of São Paulo, to the IC programs of the State University of Londrina, Federal University of Bahia, Federal University of Paraíba, Federal University of Pernambuco, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and Fluminense Federal University. Note 4 is also awarded to the Information and Knowledge Management System (IACS) program of the Mineira Foundation for Education and Culture (FUMEC). Note three was awarded to the graduate program of Memories and Collections of the Casa de Rui Barbosa Foundation, to the GI program of the State University of Santa Catarina, to the Librarianship Program of the Federal University of Cariri, to the Librarianship and Management Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRJ), the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) and the programs of the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS), Federal University of Santa Catarina, (UFC / CI-GOC, UFRJ / CI, UFS / CI, UFRN / GIC, UFC / CI, FUMEC / UFMG / CI-GOC) and the Federal University of Pará. IACS. positive perspectives in relation to the approaches that are being inserted in the postgraduate courses in CI. It indicates that GIC's approaches to the programs are following the reflexes of the Information Society towards concerns about the immense flow of information and the rampant race in search of strategic knowledge for the sustainability of organizations and the growth of people.
