English abstract

This text expresses a contribution to the research project "Innovación curricular integral y articulada de los programas de pregrado de la Escuela Interamericana de Bibliotecología de la Universidad de Antioquia", proposed by the Inter-American School of Library Science (EIB), to the call made by the University of Antioquia (UdeA) to the curricular transformation of quality of all the academic programs it offers. Within the macro-project, there is an area called: "Epistemological foundations", which is part of the academic management of the project, and which seeks to define the theoretical perspectives that will give the path to the curriculum of the undergraduate academic programs of the School. As a contribution to this area, this research aims to show how the philosophy of information of Luciano Floridi, could offers to the library discipline in order to enrich the discussions of the component of the theoretical guidelines in the project mentioned above.

Este texto expresa un aporte al proyecto de investigación "Innovación curricular integral y articulada de los programas de pregrado de la Escuela Interamericana de Bibliotecología de la Universidad de Antioquia", propuesto por la Escuela, al llamado que hace la Universidad a la transformación curricular de calidad de todos los programas académicos que ofrece. Dentro del macro proyecto, se encuentra un componente llamado: "Fundamentos epistemológicos", que hace parte de la gestión académica del proyecto, y que busca definir las perspectivas teóricas que darán la ruta para el currículo de los programas académicos de pregrado de la EIB. Para aportar al componente, esta investigación tiene como objetivo, exponer de qué manera la filosofía de la información de Luciano Floridi, podría contribuir a la disciplina bibliotecológica con el fin de enriquecer las discusiones del componente de las orientaciones teóricas en el proyecto mencionado con anterioridad.
