English abstract

It is necessary to redefine the function of the traditional library in society and because of this it is essential to be part of the virtual environment. The use of networks implies a new way of socializing information and suggests a new paradigm of relationship and interactivity between users and the library through their platforms.

Es menester redifinir la función de la biblioteca tradicional en la sociedad y para ello es indispensable formar parte del entorno virtual. El uso de las redes implica una nueva forma de socializar la información y propone un nuevo paradigma de relación e interactividad entre usuarios y biblioteca a través de sus plataformas.
