English abstract

Literature on evaluation of digital libraries is reviewed, emphasizing the complexity of the processes and the diversity of methodologies. This work proposes an analytical approach to the basic characteristics of the interfaces in a sample of digital libraries by means of parameters and criteria that allow observing its imple-mentation and possible translation towards formalized tools for the participation of real users and experts in the evaluation. Future lines of work are suggested.

Spanish abstract

Se revisa, en primer término, la literatura sobre evaluación de bibliotecas digitales, destacando la complejidad de los procesos evaluativos y la diversidad de metodolo-gías empleadas en los mismos. Se propone un análisis aproximativo sobre las carac-terísticas básicas de las interfaces de una muestra de bibliotecas digitales mediante la articulación de una serie de parámetros y criterios que nos permiten observar la im-plementación de los mismos y su posible extrapolación hacia herramientas de reco-gida de datos, formalizadas para la participación de usuarios reales y expertos en la evaluación. Se sugieren líneas de trabajo futuras.
