English abstract
The article deals with the development of bibliotherapy for children and adolescents in Ukraine and abroad. Three essential components are considered for the effective implementation of biblical therapy process with children and adolescents in the children’s library. A conclusion is drawn about the importance of interaction of the librarian-biblical therapist with the reader/patient. The recommendations for designing a biblio-therapeutic cabinet/space in the library for children are developed.

У статті досліджено розвиток бібліотерапії для дітей та підлітків в Україні та за кордоном. розглянуто три необхідні складові для ефективного здійснення бібліотерапевтичного процесу з дітьми та підлітками у дитячій бібліотеці. Зроблено висновок про важливість взаємодії бібліотекаря-бібліотерапевта з читачем-пацієнтом. розроблено рекомендації щодо оформлення бібліотерапевтичного кабінету чи простору у бібліотеці для дітей.
