English abstract

Harvesting digital data owned by information centers into common data repositories provides significant benefits in the research process. Common data repositories open the way for the research process to be carried out correctly, quickly and reliably. However, it is imperative that the digital data be structured according to the standards of information profession. After describing the usefulness of common data pools in this study, examples are given to common data pools developed around the World here. Then, the digital archives catalog of the General Directorate of State Archives is compared with the examined systems. At the end of the research, the general situation of the catalog is evaluated and solutions for the improvement are presented

Turkish abstract

Bilgi merkezleri tarafından sahip olunan dijital verilerin ortak veri havuzlarda harmanlanması araştırma süreçlerinde önemli yararlılıklar sağlar. Ortak veri havuzları araştırma süreçlerinin doğru, hızlı ve güvenilir biçimde sürdürülmesinin yolunu açar. Ancak bunun için dijital verilerin alana özgü standartlara göre yapılandırılması şarttır. Araştırmada ortak veri havuzlarının yararlılıkları anlatıldıktan sonra, dünyada geliştirilen ortak veri havuzlarına örnekler verilmektedir. Daha sonra Devlet Arşivleri Genel Müdürlüğü dijital arşiv kataloğu ile incelenen sistemler arasında karşılaştırılmalar yapılmaktadır. Araştırma sonunda söz konusu kataloğun genel durumu değerlendirilmekte ve geliştirilmesine yönelik çözüm önerileri sunulmaktadır.
