English abstract

The present explanatory synthesis is the product of a surveillance investigation, which accounts for the most significant facts and data that have directly influenced the way information is researched and sought in the area of health, and particularly, it is given account of what guidelines have been consolidated internationally in health research through the influence of the Evidence Based Medicine.

La presente síntesis explicativa, es producto de una investigación de vigilancia, que da cuenta de los hechos y datos significativos más destacables que han influido directamente en la forma como se investiga y se busca información en el área de la salud, y particularmente, se da cuenta de qué pautas se han consolidado a nivel internacional en la investigación de salud a través de la influencia la Medicina Basada en la Evidencia.
