English abstract

Writing and publishing a book has become essential in academic professions. Further those who are also active in the fields of literature, education, research and the arts wish to publish books. Till now publishing a book through traditional channels remained a difficult task. But now Self-publishing the book has become an effortless task with the assistance of digital technologies and the Internet. The academic community and other writers can opt self-publishing mode to publish books speedily and maximize the reach of publications to their expected readers. The paper introduces self publishing system with a focus on various approaches in self-publishing, its mertis and demerits and the different methods of self-publishing in the contemporary ICT environment.
