English abstract

A reflection is made in relation to the lack of leadership of archivists through the following aspects: their entry and professional practice in other areas besides the “traditional” archivistics; their participation in conferences and presentations and the low level of publications produced by the guild.

Se realiza una reflexión en relación a la falta de liderazgo de los archivistas a través de los siguientes aspectos: su ingreso y práctica profesional en otros ámbitos además del archivístico “tradicional”; su participación en congresos y ponencias y el escaso nivel de publicaciones producidas por el gremio.
