English abstract
The lack of interest on the part of "orthodox" Archivistics towards personal and family archives is evidenced; likewise, the transcendence of these for society in relation to their generators is exemplified.

Se pone en evidencia la falta de interés por parte de la Archivística “ortodoxa” hacia los archivos personales y familiares; asimismo, se ejemplifica la trascendencia de estos para la sociedad en relación con sus generadores.
