English abstract

If something has characterized public libraries for a long time, it is their job. constant and tireless for the encouragement and promotion of reading. For bliss purpose, has set - and continues to implement, innovate and adapt at all times - all kinds of initiatives, resources and strategies with the pretension to bring the taste and love of reading closer to citizens. One of the most extended services in the library offer in recent years are the reading clubs, through which reading is promoted and promoted of books. The current health crisis has caused changes in the provision of library services that, in the case of reading clubs, has led to the rise and consolidation of the so-called virtual reading clubs

Si algo caracteriza a las bibliotecas públicas desde largo tiempo, es su trabajo constante e incansable por el fomento y la promoción de la lectura. Para dicha finalidad, ha puesto -y sigue poniendo en marcha, innovando y adaptándose a cada momento- todo tipo de iniciativas, recursos y estrategias con la pretensión de acercar el gusto y la afición por la lectura a los ciudadanos. Uno de los servicios más extendidos en la oferta bibliotecaria en los últimos años son los clubes de lectura, a través de los cuales, se potencia y fomenta la lectura de libros. La actual crisis sanitaria ha ocasionado cambios en la prestación de los servicios bibliotecarios que, en el caso de los clubes de lectura, ha propiciado el auge y consolidación de los denominados clubes de lectura virtuales
