English abstract

Taking as reference the concepts of statement and discursive formation proposed by Foucault, the text reflects on the place that personal and family archives have for orthodox archivistics, reaching the conclusion that these are discursive formations that are left out of the statements of traditional archivistics.

Spanish abstract

Tomando como referencia los conceptos de enunciado y formación discursiva propuestos por Foucault, el texto reflexiona respecto al lugar que los archivos personales y familiares tiene para la archivística ortodoxa, llegando a la conclusión de que estos son formaciones discursivas que se dejan fuera de los enunciados de la archivística tradicional.
