English abstract

The paper presented an evaluation study on the websites of Institutional Repositories (IR) created in India. These websites of IR reveal various facets such as services, and facilities available. The evaluation process is achieved by grading and ranking. Out of the total 54 selected IR websites, some are ranked in the paper and finally, a model of IR is also given.
