Bibliographic reference managers have become indispensable tools for researchers. Through them, you can organize all the information consulted in databases, websites, repositories, blogs, full-text documents, digitized files of all kinds and other sources of information. This new book on Mendeley, written by librarian Julio Alonso Arévalo, aims to show how to make the best use of this tool. To do so, it presents a description of the system's features, shows the advantages it has for the work of librarians and researchers, establishes comparisons with other managers and shows, in a very simple way, how to use it.

Los gestores de referencias bibliográficas se han convertido en herramientas indispensables para los investigadores. A través de ellas, se puede organizar toda la información consultada en bases de datos, sitios web, repositorios, blogs, documentos a texto completo, archivos digitalizados de todo tipo y otras fuentes de información. Este nuevo libro sobre Mendeley, escrito por el bibliotecario Julio Alonso Arévalo, tiene el objetivo mostrar cómo sacarle el mejor provecho a esta herramienta. Para ello, presenta una descripción de las características del sistema, muestra las ventajas que tiene para el trabajo del bibliotecario y de los investigadores, establece comparaciones con otros gestores y muestra, de una manera muy sencilla, cómo usarlo.
