English abstract

University education in health areas must meet high standards since there is an additional social commitment, therefore, it is essential to continuously monitor the quality of education and, within this, evaluate teacher performance, trying to use fair and accurate evaluation instruments , and valid1. The syllabus or curriculum is an instrument that manages the learning process according to the graduation profile of each university degree course, constitutes a tool at the service of the student and represents the commitment to transmit knowledge and skills of the teacher and their academic unit; It is public in nature, susceptible to analysis, critical review and improvement2. We consider that the most suitable way to evaluate teaching is the opinion of the students, they objectively distinguish both the teaching performance and the pedagogical instruments used more easily.

La educación universitaria en áreas de salud debe cumplir altos estándares ya que existe un compromiso social adicional, por tanto, es indispensable monitorear continuamente la calidad de la educación y, dentro de ésta, evaluar el desempeño docente, procurando utilizar instrumentos de evaluación justa, precisa, y válida1 . El sílabo o currículo es un instrumento que gestiona el proceso de aprendizaje conforme al perfil de egreso de cada carrera de titulación universitaria, constituye una herramienta al servicio del estudiante y representa el compromiso de transmisión de conocimientos y destrezas del docente y su unidad académica; tiene carácter público, es susceptible de análisis, revisión crítica y mejoramiento2 . Consideramos que la forma más idónea para evaluar la docencia es la opinión de los alumnos, ellos distinguen objetivamente con mayor facilidad tanto la actuación docente como los instrumentos pedagógicos utilizados.
