English abstract

The text offers a brief analysis about NITF and NewsML, and its application to the management of journalistic contents in line, including writing, treatment, recovery and reutilization of such. Both languages are the result of 30 years of study and use of applied languages of telecommunications in journalism. First, a brief summary is offered about the NITF and NewsML historical evolution like languages on which it will be based the future, in the mid term, the journalistic markup. Later, their capacities are described to both languages briefly, showing, and insisting on their main characteristics, the modularity and the double structural and semantic description at several levels, including some examples. Next, will be some of the advantages and, to the time, of the questions that raise their future use, including the partial reframing of the role played by the journalists in the elaboration of electronic media. In a later section, are some possibilities of use of both languages. Finally, data are offered on the present implantation of both languages,and their perspective of future.

Se ofrece un breve analisis sobre los lenguajes de marcado NITF y NewsML, y su aplicación a la gestión de contenidos periodísticos en línea, incluidas la redacción, tratamiento, recuperación y reutilizacióon de los mismos. Amboslenguajes son el resultado de 30 años de estudio y utilización de lenguajes de mercado aplicados a las telecomunicaciones de contenidos periodísticos. Se muestra un breve resumen de la evolución histórica que ha convergido en NITF y en NewsML como lenguajes sobre los que se basará el futuro, a medio plazo, de los lenguajes de marcado periodístico. Posteriormente, se describen brevemente ambos lenguajes, mostrando sus capacidades, y haciendo hincapié en sus principales características, la modularidad y la doble descripción estructural y semántica a varios niveles, incluyendo algunos ejemplos. Seguidamente, se mostrarán algunas de las ventajas y, al tiempo, de los interrogantes que plantean su uso futuro, incluyendo el replanteamiento parcial del papel jugado por los periodistas en la elaboración de los medios electrónicos. En una sección posterior, se muestran algunas posibilidades de uso de ambos lenguajes. Por último, se ofrecen datos sobre la implantación actual de ambos lenguajes, y sus perspectivas de futuro.
