English abstract

A key aspect that we set out to do since we were formed as an editorial team was to contribute with ideas, as well as to strengthen not only science as a spearhead, but also the deployment of reflection for the sake of a more fair and balanced, in times as convulsive as those we are going through today. True, these are difficult times that we must face and confront with intelligence and, of course, with ideas. This is and will continue to be our emblem and our firmest purpose.

Un aspecto clave que nos propusimos desde que nos conformamos como equipo editorial, fue el de contribuir con las ideas, así como en el fortalecimiento no solo de la ciencia como punta de lanza, sino también el despliegue de la reflexión en aras de una sociedad más justa y equilibrada, en tiempos tan convulsos como los que atravesamos en la actualidad. Cierto, son tiempos difíciles que debemos enfrentar y confrontar con inteligencia y, por supuesto, con ideas. Este es y seguirá siendo nuestro emblema y nuestro más firme propósito.
