English abstract

Aim of the CREMISI project is to qualify the state libraries’ staff. E.learning is the chosen way. The updating of structures is not enough to create a better and more efficient service, so the main investment is on working staff who, with the new technologies, feel the need to rethink about his role.

Italian abstract

Obiettivo principale del progetto CREMISI è la riqualificazione del personale delle biblioteche statali. La Formazione a Distanza è il metodo scelto. L’ammodernamento delle strutture da solo non basta a creare in biblioteca un servizio migliore e più efficiente, l’investimento maggiore è dunque sul personale che vi opera, il quale, in seguito all’avvento delle nuove tecnologie, avverte la necessità di ripensare al proprio ruolo.
