English abstract

Today, libraries of all kinds are strengthening their spaces and experimenting with new services, reimagining the 21st century library as a third space, intentionally configuring their spaces as placemaking centres; aiming to provide an integrated set of facilities and public spaces that are "the heart and soul of the community". This is based on the assumption of an increasing development of open spaces and hybrids between residence and workplace that facilitate encounters between heterogeneous actors and resources.
