English abstract

Identification and analysis of the interventions of Count de las Navas on bibliography in the journal La España Moderna. The publication was founded in 1889 and supported by the patron José Lázaro Galdeano, with the advice of Emilia Pardo Bazán. The Count addressed topics such as the beginning of bibliography studies, public libraries, the Japanese book, the book trade in Germany, ex-libris and the library for the blind, among others.

Identificación y análisis de las intervenciones de conde de las Navas sobre bibliografía en la revista La España Moderna. La publicación fue fundada en 1889 y sostenida por el mecenas José Lázaro Galdeano, con el asesoramiento de Emilia Pardo Bazán. El conde abordó temas como el comienzo de los estudios sobre bibliografía, las bibliotecas públicas, el libro japonés, el comercio del libro en Alemania, los ex-libris así como la biblioteca para ciegos, entre otras cuestiones.
