English abstract

In the Public Library of Tarragona the Local Section was reorganized in 1987. An own space was assigned and a work in its bottoms began. Therefore it was tried, in the first place, to exhaustive gather the bibliographical production referred the province, from the reception of the legal deposit. They became drained analytical of articles appeared in bulletins and local magazines. Special attention was in the treatment of the published ones by training centers, like way to complement the panoramic one offered by the monographs.

A la Biblioteca Pública de Tarragona la Secció Local es va reorganitzar el 1987. Se li asignà un espai propi i s’inicià un treball aprofondit en els seus fons. Per aquesta raó s’intentà, en primer lloc, recollir exhaustivament la producció bibliogràfica referida a la província, a partir de la recepció del dipòsit legal. Es feren buidats analítics d’articles apareguts a butlletins i revistes locals i comarcals. Es va tenir especial cura en el tractament de les editades per centres d’estudis, com a manera de completar la panoràmica oferida per les monografies. S’aplegaren i es tractaren alguns materials considerats menors, com els fulletons.
