English abstract

Visual impairments change the way the students gather information and limit the opportunities to learn through observation. This paper provides information on e-content, its importance and the things to be considered while creating e-content for students with disabilities. Researchers have suggested that e-content may be of great use to all persons with disabilities, including the visually impaired. The ICT literacy is very much essential for visually impaired students to access educational resources and program such as those delivered via the internet or multimedia educational portals.
