Abstract(s)
This article discusses in detail about the various aspects of the human resources and personnel management of the National Library of Australia (NLA), including the law background: Council of the National Library of Australia and Australian Public Service; the selection of Senior Executive Service; the appointment process of ordinary employees; the system of career planning, orientation programs, entry level training, competencies and vocational training,managerial and development programs,further education; the settings of apartments; the objects of NLA, as well as the arrangement of flextime. At last, the author concludes that the primary goal of the whole management system of NLA is to farthest exert employees' working enthusiasm and to help them gain the sense of achievement and career satisfaction, and thus to keep the excellent employees.
简介了澳大利亚国家图书馆的机构设置、人事管理和工资待遇等情况。结论:澳大利亚国家图书馆各种管理方面的规定的目的是为了最大限度地发挥员工的积极性,创造更多的机会,使得员工有一定的成就感和职业满足感,从而保留住一些有用的人才。其着手点是员工个人,而不是片面地“管”。从晋升的方面来看,NLA的职务级别比中国多,层次很明确,从而机会就相对要多一些。
