English abstract

The use and application of cloud computing to libraries has an economic advantage to overcome difficulties created by non availability of sufficient funds for technology based services and products. The cloud base for libraries helps to use the available ICT infrastructure for extensive services in the form of SaaS, PaaS , IaaS,CaaS and MaaS. All the cloud computing services and its application in libraries and information centres facilitates quality library services for its clienetele.
