English abstract

In this paper the author emphasis the need for framing the five laws of library science for an association, institution, organization, society, etc. to carry out its work efficiently and effectively. An attempt has been made to devise five laws of library science using logical thinking. Author suggested that these laws can serve the guiding force for all the associations in general and Library & Information Science in particular.
