English abstract

National Library Week is celebrated in India every year from 14th November to 20th November since 1968 to raise awareness among the public on valuable roles of libraries in education, research and development. This annual celebration highlights the contributions of libraries and library professionals in transforming lives and strengthening the communities. Librarians can be good guides and advisors in the field of education and research and that is why they are called teachers without a classroom.
