English abstract
The presence of English in Spanish communication is not a new issue, but the change in the perception of its use is. In this study we asked university students, students and teachers, professionals and academics of the language about the presence and influence of Anglicisms, comparing results between Spain and Mexico. The conclusions show that concern about its use is increasingly less among young people, for whom it is something normalized. Teachers and professionals consider that its use, although widespread, is not excessive and the academy considers that the term Spanish should be prioritized. However, the idea that English terms are more modern and up-to-date continues to be maintained. In Mexico, the need to Spanishize terms is given less importance than in Spain.

La presencia del inglés en la comunicación española no es una cuestión nueva pero sí el cambio en la percepción sobre su uso. En este estudio preguntamos a universitarios, estudiantes y docentes, profesionales y académicos de la lengua sobre la presencia e influencia de los anglicismos, comparando resultados entre España y México. Las conclusiones muestran que la preocupación por su uso es cada vez menor en los jóvenes, para quien es algo normalizado. Los docentes y profesionales consideran que su uso, si bien extendido, no es desmesurado y desde la academia se considera que debe priorizarse el término castellano. Sigue manteniéndose, sin embargo, la idea de que los términos en inglés son más modernos y demuestran estar al día. En México, a la necesidad de castellanizar los términos se le da menos importancia que en España.
