English abstract
We will address Ethics in the management of scientific Journals, a topic that crosses all the editing activities of the Journals, and that we may think is already covered, but it is not. We would like ethics to be present “like the buzz to the botfly”, in the words of García Márquez. And that it is not a ClicKbait or a trend, in current terms; because ethics is excellence in everything you do, and above all it is necessary to “Be” and not lose the Essence. However, when analyzing the world of Scientific Journals, we find a challenging environment. The commercial management of the Magazines; financing, which in the technological field requires greater economic resources - systems (OJS), markup (XML), DOI, anti-plagiarism software, etc.; the continuous requirements of publishers for the acquisition of magazines, in which independence is lost; the need for university professors to publish articles in journals with Q1 and Q2 quartiles for the corresponding accreditations; the same universities that finance the publications of their professors, for positioning rankings, etc.

Abordaremos la Ética en la gestión de las Revistas científicas, un tema que cruza transversalmente todas las actividades de edición de las Revistas, y que tal vez pensemos que ya está cubierto, pero No lo está. Nos gustaría que la ética estuviera presente “como el zumbido al moscardón”, en palabras de García Márquez. Y que no sea un ClicKbait o una tendencia, en términos actuales; porque la ética es excelencia en todo lo que haces, y sobre todo es necesaria para “Ser” y no perder la Esencia. Sin embargo, al analizar el mundo de las Revistas Científicas, nos encontramos con un entorno desafiante. El manejo comercial de las Revistas; la financiación, que en el ámbito tecnológico requiere de mayores recursos económicos - sistemas (OJS), marcación (XML), DOI, software antiplagio, etc.; los continuos requerimientos de editoriales para la adquisición de las revistas, en las que se pierde la independencia; la necesidad de los profesores universitarios, de publicar artículos en revistas con cuartil Q1, y Q2, para las acreditaciones correspondientes; las mismas universidades que financian las publicaciones de sus profesores, para los rankings de posicionamiento, etc.
