English abstract

Research is the main activity of the Higher Education Institute. To do research, researchers face many difficulties while arranging Citations, references and bibliographies in a thesis, dissertation or an article on their work. Most of the time, researchers are not recording bibliographical records systematically, while they consult relevant materials like books, articles, chapters in books, conference proceedings, websites, etc. To manage the bibliographical records, there are so many tools available in the market and online, which include Proprietary and free or open source software. Among them, Mendeley, Zotero are popular nowadays. 90% of the people/researchers prefer to type their work in “Microsoft Word” of Microsoft product, worldwide. Microsoft Word has a facility called “Reference” exclusively for research. The researcher should know it’s important, and the functions available in this facility are very essential and need to be known and used for research reports or articles writing. The author hereby the Microsoft Word 2007 for this article.
