English abstract
This paper is about my experience in the field of libraries, from the time I decided to study Library Science at the Instituto Superior de Formación Docente y Técnica N°8 until my current job placement, as a teacher of the course and librarian at the Centro Literario Israelita and Biblioteca Max Nordau. Although the personal narrative prevails, the aim is to share the different ways that are woven to exercise the library profession according to the approaches and interests that we build throughout our training.

El presente trabajo trata sobre mi experiencia en el ámbito de las bibliotecas, desde que decidí estudiar Bibliotecología en el Instituto Superior de Formación Docente y Técnica N°8 hasta mi inserción laboral actual, como docente de la carrera y bibliotecaria del Centro Literario Israelita y Biblioteca Max Nordau. Aunque prevalece la narrativa personal, se busca compartir sobre las diferentes formas que se tejen para ejercer la profesión bibliotecaria según los planteos e intereses que construimos a lo largo de nuestra formación.
