English abstract

The paper investigates the level of awareness of SWAYAM platform among the Library and Information Science professionals through an online survey. The study found that 79% of library professionals are aware of SWAYAM platform among them 86% are enrolled themselves on it being an alternative of higher education. The feedback of LIS professionals indicates that the platform is useful to them, however requires some improvement in its performance.
