English abstract

The paper investigates the level of awareness of SWAYAM platform among the Library and Information Science professionals through an online survey. The study found that 50% of library professionals are not aware of SWAYAM platform hence not enrolled though it is an alternative option for getting higher education. The feedback of LIS professionals indicates that the platform is useful to them, however requires some improvement in its performance.
