English abstract

This paper discusses the use, need, benefits, and purpose of Social Networking Sites (SNSs) in the context of libraries. Also explains about the various library services through SNSs and its challenges. Authors demonstrate a framework for SNS in the context of library service and suggest that libraries need to adopt SNSs technology offer various services to meet the current demand and expectations of its users.
