English abstract
The present study is based on the determination of the lack of academic integrity by detecting evidence of plagiarism in university school papers presented on the Blackboard platform, in a private Mexican university. This was done by analyzing the citation/reference system and expanding the analysis to bibliometric elements that may or may not confirm the findings made, within the framework of an information culture. 442 documentary works from courses in which the SafeAssig tool was previously used, from students between 2nd and 4th year of professional careers, were analyzed. The results were analyzed by Schools (Administration and Business, Social Sciences and Humanities, and Engineering). The results show that the culture of information decreases in its practice throughout the semesters. No major variations were observed in the bibliometric references. Thus, the conclusion is reached that the culture of information must cross the entire educational curriculum, which would positively affect the practice of academic integrity.

El presente estudio se basa en la determinación de la falta de integridad académica dentro del marco de la cultura de la información en una universidad privada en México. Se analizaron trabajos escolares universitarios presentados en la plataforma Blackboard y se evidenció que hay altos niveles de plagio; esto se realizó analizando el sistema cita/referencia y ampliando un análisis de elementos bibliométricos que pueden confirmar o no los hallazgos realizados. Se analizaron 442 trabajos documentales de cursos en los que se usó previamente la herramienta SafeAssig, de alumnos entre segundo y cuarto año de carreras profesionales. Se analizaron los resultados por colegios (Administración y Negocios, Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades e Ingeniería). Los resultados muestran que la cultura de la información va decreciendo en su práctica a lo largo de los semestres. No se observaron mayores variantes en los referentes bibliométricos. Se llega así a la conclusión de que la cultura de la información debe cruzar toda la currícula educativa, lo que impactaría de manera positiva la práctica de la integridad académica.
