English abstract

This paper examines the use of electronic resources by the research scholars of Faculty of Social Science, Karnatak University, Dharwad to evaluate the level of awareness, usage, purposes, frequency, difficulties, benefits, and search techniques used. Study used questionnaire method and collected data from 84 researchers from the Faculty of Social Science, Karnatak University, Dharwad. The study found that the majority of users are aware of various types of e-resources and that these resources may impact their academic activities at the institution.
