English abstract

A proposed model for the curation of digital heritage objects is presented, with the aim of converting a curatorial work on collections of archives, libraries and museums into permanent, authorial and reusable resources. Currently, collections of heritage objects are published on the web as interconnected open data. A curatorial work adds value by providing an interpretation of such sets of objects, relating digital heritage objects to each other and to other digital resources, contextualizing them, classifying them by typology and providing commentary. As such, a curatorial work is authorial. The cultural and educational value of the curatorial work would increase if it were permanent and could be reused, such as a printed exhibition catalogue. The proposed model was based on the tasks performed by a curator of digital collections and on the sections that make up a printed exhibition catalogue. The implementation of the aforementioned model using LOD and named graph technologies is also proposed.
