English abstract

Electronic resources: In search of constructive dialogue. Experiences and expectations of information professionals regarding electronic resources. This report is presented on the use and management of electronic resources by Spanish information centers. Its origins lie in the study promoted in 2002 by SwetsBlackwell (formerly Swets Information Services), the Group Romand de Documentation, and the French magazine Archimag. At that time, a survey was conducted among librarians in France and Switzerland (French-speaking areas). Given the positive reception of that study and the obvious usefulness of its results, Swets Information Services decided to update the Franco-Swiss study and, at the same time, incorporate Belgium and Spain into the new edition. The manager of the Spanish office of Swets Information Services, Dirk Lens, extended an invitation to participate in the study to the Spanish Society of Documentation and Scientific Information (Sedic) and the magazine El profesional de la información (EPI).

Experiencias y expectativas de los profesionales de la información respecto a los recursos electrónicos. Se presenta este informe en torno a la utilización y la gestión de los recursos electrónicos por parte de los centros de información españoles, que encuentra sus antecedentes en el estudio promovido en 2002 por SwetsBlackwell (nombre anterior de Swets Information Services), el Group Romand de Documentation y la revista francesa Archimag. En aquella ocasión se realizó una encuesta dirigida a bibliotecarios de Francia y de Suiza (zona francófona). Ante la buena acogida de aquel estudio y la obvia utilidad de sus resultados, Swets Information Services decidió actualizar el estudio franco-suizo y, al mismo tiempo, incorporar en la nueva edición a Bélgica y España. El gerente de la oficina española de Swets Information Services, Dirk Lens, extendió la invitación a participar en el estudio a la Sociedad Española de Documentación e Información Científica (Sedic) y a la revista El profesional de la información (EPI).
