English abstract

In the academic context of the Santo Tomás University, it is essential to evaluate and understand the scientific production of researchers, since this activity plays a fundamental role in the generation and dissemination of knowledge. In this 2022-2023 metrics analysis exercise, an analysis of the scientific production of researchers is presented assigned to the Bucaramanga Section, who contribute significantly to the advancement of their respective disciplines. Through this review, publications, collaborations, academic impact and other key indicators are highlighted that illustrate the commitment and impact of the research community in the construction of knowledge and the strengthening of the reputation of the university in the scientific field with the academic excellence and contribution to society through research.

Spanish abstract

En el contexto académico de la Universidad Santo Tomás es esencial evaluar y comprender la producción científica de los investigadores, ya que esta actividad desempeña un papel fundamental en la generación y difusión del conocimiento. En este ejercicio de análisis de métricas 2022- 2023, se presenta un análisis de la producción científica de los investigadores adscritos a la Seccional Bucaramanga, quienes contribuyen significativamente al avance de sus respectivas disciplinas. A través de esta revisión, se destacan las publicaciones, colaboraciones, impacto académico y otros indicadores clave que ilustran el compromiso y el impacto de la comunidad investigadora en la construcción del conocimiento y el fortalecimiento de la reputación de la universidad en el ámbito científico con la excelencia académica y la contribución a la sociedad a través de la investigación.
