English abstract
This study examines gender disparities in digital library research from 1993 to 2022, focusing on authorship roles, citation metrics, funding, and open-access publishing. It analyzes 831 Web of Science publications, with author gender identified through Gender API and online searches. Statistical tests reveal persistent gaps; men dominate senior authorship, though female first authors show strong citation performance and a slight advantage in open-access publishing. Some countries exhibit balanced gender representation, but challenges in funding and leadership remain. The study highlights the need for policies that ensure equitable opportunities for women researchers.
