English abstract
This study analyzes Siddha medicine literature indexed in PubMed from 1972–2024 to assess publication trends, authorship, sources, and country contributions. India dominates output, with the highest growth during 2022–2024 and an average annual growth rate of 16.67%. Triple-authored papers were most common (16.41%). The Thaavaram domain led in publications, followed by History of Siddha and Clinical Trials. Sathiyarajeswaran P. was the most prolific author. Most works (72.66%) were journal articles, with the Journal of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine as the leading source. The findings indicate a recent rise in research activity and highlight uneven attention across topics and formats.
