English abstract
This paper examines various modern tools and technologies—including library automation, institutional repositories, digital library services, consortia-based services, RFID implementation, Ask-the-Librarian services, cloud computing, and web-based library systems—that have transformed libraries into efficient platforms for addressing users’ academic needs. It also outlines the objectives underlying these contemporary library services.
