English abstract
Research data management is a key component of today’s scientific and academic landscape, as it ensures the preservation, reuse, and visibility of information, thereby facilitating the advancement of knowledge. Within this framework, libraries and repositories play a crucial role by providing services and training that support the academic community in managing their data effectively. In this context, the Technical Office of the Institutional Repository of CONICET, CONICET Digital, organized and delivered a series of training sessions on research data throughout 2024, targeting the CONICET community. This initiative, among the pioneering large-scale efforts in the national scientific and academic domain, aimed to promote awareness and skills in the use, deposit, and reuse of research data. It had a notably positive impact: a significant increase in interest in data management among researchers, fellows, and support staff at the institution, as well as a rise in self-archiving activity within the repository.

La gestión de datos de investigación es un aspecto clave en el escenario científico y académico actual ya que permite la conservación, reutilización y visibilidad de la información, facilitando el avance del conocimiento. En este proceso, las bibliotecas y los repositorios desempeñan un rol fundamental al ofrecer servicios y capacitaciones que apoyan a la comunidad académica en la gestión eficiente de sus datos. En este contexto, la Oficina Técnica del Repositorio Institucional CONICET Digital durante 2024 organizó y llevó a cabo un ciclo de capacitaciones sobre datos de investigación dirigido a la comunidad CONICET. Esta iniciativa, posiblemente una de las primeras experiencias a gran escala en el país en el ámbito científico-académico, estuvo destinada a la alfabetización en el uso, depósito y reutilización de datos de investigación y se destacó por su impacto positivo: un notable aumento del interés en la gestión de datos por parte de los investigadores, becarios y personal de apoyo del organismo, así como un incremento del autoarchivo en el repositorio.
