English abstract

Since 1996, at the University of Padua, serving 60000 students and 2000 scholars, a wide number of database is available, some of them on the ERL platform (ERL is a SilverPlatter produtc, the modality of access is the same). This system is integrated by SAR, a remote access system improved at the University to allow the consultation of non ERL databases.

Dal 1996, l'Ateneo di Padova, che serve un bacino di utenza di 60.000 studenti e conta oltre 2.000 docenti ha reso accessibili in rete locale numerose basi dati, una ventina di esse è residenti sulla piattaforma ERL della SilverPlatter, queste sono quindi consultabili con le medesime modalità di accesso. Questo sistema è stato ulteriormente integrato da SAR, un sistema accesso remoto, messo a punto dal nostro Ateneo per la consultazione delle banche dati non disponibili su ERL.
