English abstract

The environmental information, programs and information systems. The environmental information services are, to a large extent, product of the progressive taking of conscience of the population, from the Conference of Stockholm of 1972, that begins to demand the governments to act on the threats to the health, the quality of life, and even the long term stability of the medio.ambiente of the planet. The most excellent characteristic of this information is the one of being a field to multidiscipline that it interests to an ample variety of scientific and technical sectors. Also it is necessary to consider the increasing different demand of information by part sectors, like the industrialist and that is generated so much by the necessity to respond more and more restrictive to environmental legislative exigencies, like giving answer to an environmental market with great possibilities of development (technical anti-pollution, recycled of materials, treatment of remainders, etc.). Before This necessity in this article some of the Programs and international Systems of greater interest are described

Los servicios de información ambiental son, en gran parte, producto de la progresiva toma de conciencia de la población, a partir de la Conferencia de Estocolmo de 1972, que comienza a exigir a los gobiernos a actuar sobre las amenazas a la salud, la calidad de vida, e incluso la estabilidad a largo plazo del medio ambiente del planeta. La característica más sobresaliente de esta información es la de ser un campo multidisciplinar que interesa a una amplia variedad de sectores científicos y técnicos. También hay que tener en cuenta la creciente demanda de información por parte diferentes sectores, como el industrial y que está generada tanto por la necesidad de responder a unas exigencias legislativas ambientales cada vez más restrictivas, como de dar respuesta a un mercado ambiental con grandes posibilidades de desarrollo (técnicas anticontaminantes, reciclado de materiales, tratamiento de residuos, etc.). Ante Esta necesidad en este artículo se describen algunos de los Prog ramas y Sistemas internacionales de mayor interés
